How consent is obtained
During a telephone conversation, a Yazory staff member explains that messages may include call scheduling, pledge and donation updates, payment reminders, confirmations, and receipts. Message frequency varies, typically up to four messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. The staff member explains that the recipient may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance and asks: “Do you agree to receive SMS messages from Yazory?” Only after the recipient gives an explicit “yes” is the consent date and time recorded and SMS messaging permitted.
